These are an ideal flow toy for anyone that spins poi. Show some style with high quality stainless steel chains and balls that look like you are spinning miniature dragon's eggs! They feel as nice as they look. This listing is for the glow in the dark acrylic scales on the poi, but check my shop for the made to order, any colour aluminum scale poi.
The chains and balls can come as a set or separately, as singles or doubles, but please read carefully to ensure you select the right option. Chains come with the deerskin handles. The total length is about 24 inches / 60 cm but vary slightly depending on how you adjust the finger loops.
The specifications are as follows:
Single Chain : 107 g and 15.5 inch or 40 cm length (does not include the 1 1/4 inch or 3 cm swivel lobster clasp). Length can be adjusted. Made from high quality 16g stainless steel rings in a byzantine style weave - this weave is round so that the chains will not tangle! Suitable for fire poi.
Handle : Made from a 3/4 inch (2 cm) wide strip of deer hide. Very soft, grips well and deerhide is one of the most durable leathers out there. Can be folded as single or double loops, depending on your preference. As a single loop, the handle is 4 inches (10 cm) long. These come in natural brown as photographed or black.
Single Ball : 80 g and 3 inches (7.5 cm) diameter. These have been constructed from aluminum rings and scales around a styrofoam ball in the center to keep them relatively lightweight. The top is constructed from stainless steel rings to give some extra strength to the connector piece. They are designed to have a perfect counter balance to the chains, but it is not necessary to buy the balls and chains together. The balls are NOT suitable for fire poi.
